Teaming Up with Gayla of Not Before Coffee

My friend Gayla and I are so fired up about what’s happening in our country that we’ve decided to team up!

Gayla and I have been friends for over a decade. Back in 2008 things got so politically heated between us we decided to part ways. I was heartbroken.

My friend is pretty hard on herself these days for not noticing what was right in front of her. But, you know what? Even as a newbie conservative at the time, I was pretty naive about the political machine, news media, and all that propaganda. Honestly, I think the last 8 years has grown us both up!

Today, Gayla and I are closer than ever. It’s what friends do when they apologize to one another and work to fix what broke. We each took responsibility for our part, had true remorse for how we handled ourselves, and got back to the business of being friends again. It’s like we never missed a beat!

Today we are stronger, better versions of ourselves, and we are ready to rumble!

I want to encourage all of you to wake up and pay closer attention to what’s happening in our country. Don’t be fooled by the pomp and circumstance. It would be like taking poop, throwing glitter on it, and calling it good.

In the future you guys can expect to see posts from the both of us on Not Before Coffee as well as Domestic Divapalooza. We won’t always be blogging the same stuff so be sure and have both places in your news reader.

I’m so excited to be working with you again, Gayla! It’s a dream come true that we are on the same page this election cycle! I can’t wait to dive in over on Not Before Coffee and I’m looking forward to seeing what you do on Domestic Divapalooza.

  1. I have been loving the conversations on your social media pages. Will be coming back to your blog posts and reading what you have to say here. Really missed the little group we all were. Totally agree, people need to wake up to see what is really going on.

  2. I miss us too, Eliza! I’m excited to be able to blog with Gayla on Not Before Coffee. Let me know if there is a subject you want me to tackle. Gayla has been churning them out the last couple of days. Yes, there are some mighty powerful people in this country that are experts at manufactured truth and it’s high time we the people put a stop to it. Love you, lady! xo
