Last Night’s CNN GOP Debate

I actually watched last night’s CNN GOP Debate. It’s not an activity I had planned on. I just happened to be sitting in front of my television scrolling the cable guide, and came upon it. Lucky me!

The GOP is down to 5 Candidates: Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and John Kasich.

This GOP debate was moderated by CNN – Awkward!

Ben Carson – He is truly a nice man, very smart, and has some of the most thoughtful replies to the questions asked of him. I often wonder if he’s too nice. The one item he touched on that I happen to agree with is that it is indeed time for the IRS to GO! I see Ben Carson as a Vice President versus POTUS.

Marco Rubio – He was all over Donald Trump. He and Ted Cruz had Donald’s head on a platter! I don’t think I’m too confident about his stance on illegal immigration. I see Marco Rubio more as a Vice President versus POTUS.

Donald Trump – I felt a huge amount of disgust zip right through me when Donald Trump defended Planned Parenthood, the organization that rips up fetuses and sells their body parts. That’s pretty disgusting. Our Government should not be funding any part of Planned Parenthood. I don’t believe Donald Trump cares much about Israel. Why on earth would he write checks to John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, and all the other moronic liberal buffoons? A big thanks to Ted Cruz for pointing that out! People are fact-checking Donald Trump and discovering that he is indeed lying about a lot! I’m not so sure I want someone who is rude, narcissistic, and a flip-flopper, who can write a check and make people go away as POTUS. BUT, I can understand why people all across America want to clean house and elect a non-establishment-politician. I cringe at the thought of the GOP making Trump their frontrunner.

Ted Cruz – I agreed with Ted Cruz when he said Socialized Medicine doesn’t work. I’ve seen it first hand growing up as a military dependent. I’ve heard the stories from friends who have lived in countries that don’t want to pay the prices to treat their patients accordingly. People who live in countries with socialized medicine receive substandard care. Ted Cruz knows the Constitution inside and out! Out of the five remaining candidates Ted Cruz is the only one I can picture as our next POTUS.

John Kasich – I’m sure John Kasich is a nice guy but to me he sounded more like a broken record. I felt as though we were all sitting in a lecture hall waiting for the bathroom break. I just can’t see him as POTUS.
