Hey Nebraska, are you ready for Common Core? It's Coming!!!

"But some people said Americans weren't ready for that much change. Sure Barack was a nice fellow, they said. But white voters would never vote for a black president. Other angry voices were raised. Barack's former pastor called the country a failure. God would damn the United States for mistreating its black citizens, he said."

This biography of America's 44th president, entitled "Barack Obama," is written by Jane Sutcliffe and published by Lerner. The book is part of Scholastic's "Reading Counts" program acceptable to the controversial Common Core curriculum standards.

For the Record: I logged into my Scholastic Book Club account and the only books I could see written by Jane Sutcliffe were: Amelia Earhart, Milton Hershey, Chief Joseph, Babe Didrikson Zaharias, Jesse Owens, Helen Keller, The Attack on Pearl Harbor, and Paul Revere. When I logged into my Amazon Account I found Jane Sutcliffe’s “Barack Obama” for $25.14—I think I will be avoiding ALL of her books.

Senator Barack Obama's Words on the Nuclear Option back in 2005

“The American people want less partisanship in this town but everyone in this chamber knows that if the majority chooses to end the filibuster—if they choose to change the rules and put an end to democratic debate—then the fighting and the bitterness and the gridlock will only get worse.” ~Senator Barack Obama

There's only one institution that can change the law: Congress

All of Barack Obama’s blind followers who clearly don’t pay attention to what is happening in this country ought to start calling him KING Obama. This guy doesn’t just lie about little things—he lies about BIG things, little things, and everything in between. It’s actually pretty pathetic. Instead of talking to insurance executives President Obama should be talking to Congress.

Blogroll: Conservative Designer

This graphic was created by Phil who happens to be a conservative graphics artist/designer. He's got some great graphics on his blog.

What I love about this particular graphic is there are so many things about it that totally describe us to a T!

We are pro-life, we believe in God, we support states' rights and a limited federal government, we are pro-gun, we are NOT a fan of Obama's unwarranted spending, we believe marriage is between a man and a women, we are constitutional originalists, we support border enforcement, we think socialism sucks, and we are TOTALLY conservative all the way.

That's how we roll.

Obamacare by Morning

As soon as I saw that clip I knew they would be called racist. This is what our society has been reduced to. If you disagree with a policy and your president happens to be "black" then that means you are automatically racist. That’s okay because I’ve crossed paths with a lot of racism in my lifetime. I personally have observed true racism. Once in the 90’s I watched a KKK march go right down the street from behind the curtain of a home in Biloxi, Mississippi. I was mortified! To see how “racism” has been twisted and manipulated over the years leaves me with a feeling of disgust. People are freaking out over Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley’s parody at the CMA’s but have nothing to say when Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, or the NAACP make false accusations. I hope these same peeps don’t watch Bill Maher or god forbid, SNL. I guess if you're rich, white, conservative and love God—that makes you racist, too.
