Social Networking 101 Classes

I am amazed at how immature and unprofessional businesses are on social networking platforms like twitter. If you represent your business on twitter it’s important to be professional and civil if you’re going to engage in hot topics. Tweeting pettiness from your professional business account on twitter is extremely unbecoming. There’s a lack of grace and decorum.

Attacking someone’s religious beliefs from your business account on twitter speaks volumes. Belittling your potential future clients from your business account on twitter is a surefire way to destroy public confidence and trust in the product and services your business provides. Word-of-mouth is the strongest marketing tool businesses have for their product. It doesn’t take much to sink or swim.

I should teach a social networking 101 class for young business owners. They obviously need guidance.

Professionals Who Harass on Twitter

Why would anyone harass another person from their professional business account on twitter? How dumb can you be to tweet your disdain for anyone whom you don’t agree with from your professional social networking account? That’s like the biggest professional business blunder anyone could ever make.

If I had a paralegal business in Omaha there is no way you’d find me picking on people from my business account. When you’re a professional common sense dictates that you remain neutral on most hot topics. If you can’t remain neutral or professional as a representative of your business then at least try to be civil.

The Tea Party Are Not Anarchists

I have to wonder if over-the-top name-calling is actually effective with anyone other than their base. Aside from the tastelessness of calling political opponents terrorists and hostage-takers, in the wake of the deadly and very real terrorist hostage massacre in Kenya and the Navy Yard shootings, don’t most Americans see how nonsensical that is? The Tea Party aren’t anarchists, they’re moms and dads and grandparents who know they can’t run their businesses like the government, spending money they don’t have, borrowing money they can’t afford to pay back, and sticking their children and grandchildren with the bill. They don’t hate government. What they do hate is a government that is ineffective and inefficient, and that keeps spending money and taking it out of the pockets of people who’ve worked their rear ends off for it, and have nothing to show because the government always wants a bigger piece. I would never call proponents of Obamacare anarchists. Anarchists want to replace time-tested systems with chaos. Well, okay. But still, I would never call them anarchists. ~Mike Huckabee

Do you have an extra 14 k laying around?

A post from the Obamacare Website:

Actually made it through this morning (tuesday) at 8:00 A.M. I have a preexisting condition (Type 1 Diabetes) and my income base was 45K-55K annually I chose tier 2 "Silver Plan" and my monthly premiums came out to $597.00 with $13,988 yearly deductible!!! There is NO POSSIBLE way that I can afford this so I "opt-out" and chose to continue along with no insurance. I received an email tonight at 5:00 P.M. informing me that my fine would be $4,037 and could be attached to my yearly income tax return. Then you make it to the "REPERCUSSIONS PORTION" for "non-payment" of yearly fine. First, your drivers license will be suspended until paid, and if you go 24 consecutive months with "Non-Payment" and you happen to be a home owner, you will have a federal tax lien placed on your home. You can agree to give your bank information so that they can easy "Automatically withdraw" your "penalties" weekly, bi-weekly or monthly! This by no means is "Free" or even "Affordable."

Do you have an extra 14 k laying around? I sure don't! They should just open the markets and scrap this crapola!

Senator Mike Lee Understands

We shouldn't have to fund everything in order to fund anything!

This mandate has to go!

Some people who’ve spent the past 48 hours trying to log onto Obamacare exchange websites finally got in only to discover they’ll need health insurance to cover their cases of sticker shock…If you expect the Affordable Care Act to make your insurance more affordable, then you don’t understand how Congress names laws. The Santa Cruz, California, Sentinel talked to some locals were stunned to see their new insurance rates. One local man was paying $630 a month for a $6,000-deductible policy for himself, his wife and their son discovered that on the state exchange, a no-frills “bronze” plan will cost him $1150 a month, with $12,000 in out-of-pocket expenses. He makes just enough not to qualify for subsidies, so half his income will go to health insurance. The paper found other angry Californians whose rates are rising by up to 70 percent. That dad predicts “huge outrage” from the middle class. That is, if there’s enough of a middle class left to raise a huge outrage. ~Mike Huckabee
