Gardasil is back in the News

Vaccines that work to prevent cancer and STDS are a good thing. It has nothing to do with encouraging sex out of wedlock.

How irresponsible of Michele Bachmann to tell the whole world that Gardasil causes mental retardation. She made some horrible excuse about misunderstandings and I knew at that moment she needed to get out of the race. What an idiot!

Furthermore, I have no respect for anyone who tries to connect important medical advances to sexual promiscuity. Any time the medical community can prevent cancer and/or STDS I consider that a good thing.

Of course the controversy has come back up because they are saying that Gardasil can benefit boys too. That’s AWESOME!!

The other thing that ticks me off is people who go to church who scoff and pretend that cancer, genital warts, STDS, etc...are some sort of punishment from God. Oh you don’t want to get me started.

Vaccinating your children has nothing to do with immoral sexual promiscuity. It’s interesting that a vaccine to possibly prevent cancer is okay but you throw in a sexually transmitted disease as rampant as the Human Papillomavirus and people start freaking out. Go figure!?

Thank You Paul Ryan!

It's a national disgrace that the Senate has not produced a budget, as of October 16th, 2011, in 900 days. Senate Democrats, during this time of national crisis, failed even to present a budget plan — in open defiance of the law and the public they serve. Senate Majority Leader Reid said it would be "foolish" to have a budget. The reason for this evasion is clear: Democrat leaders in Washington think it is politically foolish to commit publicly to the kind of tax increases and health-care rationing that would be required to sustain their vision of ever-expanding federal government.

Tea Party vs Occupy Wall Street

They keep talking about getting out there and having their voices heard. What did they think the Tea Party was doing? We were having our voices heard. Yet they call us “racists” and “domestic terrorists” go figure!?

Our government had no business bailing anyone out. If a company goes under they should experience the consequences naturally. Government throwing our money to companies in the name of “green” is all wrong too. The government doesn’t decide what is best for us.

This administration is trying to take control of every aspect of our lives. People are speaking up in the name of R and D instead of in the name of the issues. I’m tired of Government standing in the way.

I find it disturbing when an Occupy Wall Street protester looks into the camera and says that he wants ME to pay for his college degree. I don’t think so! Get a job and work your butt off and pay for your own college degree. Nobody owes you a living! You have to get out there and make things happen for yourself in spite of the audacity of Government and all the rich butt-heads that think it’s cute to avoid paying their taxes.

In all of my adult years...statistics and unemployment rates NEVER kept me from working…EVER and I don't expect my next door neighbor to pay for my education.

The Media's Guide to Protestors

Tea Vs Flea

Hat Tip: Conservative Daily News

I Agree! It's Your Decision

Wall Street Butt-Heads

For all their contrived displays of independence and non-conformism, the Occupy Wall St. protesters can’t even properly be called original. For one thing, Communism, their preferred ideology, was thoroughly discredited more than two decades ago, while most of the occupiers were still in diapers. For another, virtually their entire list of grievances against crony capitalism and bank bailouts has been plagiarized straight from the tea party’s platform, which is now nearly three years old.

If they had such a principled opposition to bailouts and corporatism, where were these occupiers in 2008 and 2009? Where were they in 2010? Rather than waiting around for hope and change, perhaps Occupy Wall St. should have been on Main St. with the tea party protesting bailouts before their disastrous economic consequences became readily apparent.

These shallow, disenchanted hipsters have confused informed political activism with tweeting trite condemnations of “capitalism” from their iPhones. While I hardly expect intellectual consistency from such a group, much less an understanding of history, economics or human nature, it seems worth taking a moment to list just a few of the times FreedomWorks stood up against exactly the kind of cronyism the occupiers are now protesting.

Where were the Wall Street Butt-Heads (yeah I said it!) when the Tea Party Patriots were ticked off about the bailouts!? Oh wait - they were busy calling us Domestic Terrorists, Mobsters and Racists...go figure!?

Occupy Wall Street

They have the audacity to compare this to the Tea Party Movement. That's pretty disgusting!

Did you see what they were doing down in Atlanta?

We have to stand up for America

I was at work in Clarksville Indiana and I got a phone call from a coworker that a plane crashed into the World Trade Center. I turned on Fox News and was shocked at what was happening. I knew we would be at war. I will never forget that day. And I will never forget how brave the 1st responders were. I try and not let 9/11 change my life because if I did the terrorist will be happy. But it has. It has shown me we have to stand up for America. If we don't it will encourage attacks.

Never Forget. Where were You on 9.11.2001 and what were you doing? What were you thinking? How has 9.11.2001 impacted your life?
