Kennedy, Clinton and Obama

I’ve been reading that Senator Edward Kennedy has a malignant brain tumor. Looks like it’s going to have to have radiation and chemo done in order to fight this thing. I feel bad for him and wish him a speedy recovery!

Obama has won in Oregon and Clinton was not beatable in Kentucky. Obama says he’s within reach of the Democratic primary but seriously.. it’s not over until the fat lady sings.

I have not been blogging as much OR as often because I’ve been super busy with my kids and working out at the gym. I just signed my littlest girls up for swimming lessons for the summer and I’ll be working out like crazy too.

I’ve been getting into the spin classes at the gym. I went Monday this week, yesterday, and plan to return this evening if I can make it there a little before 5:30.

I’ve also been working a lot out in the yard. I bought myself a new lawn mower for Mother’s Day. Believe it or not, mowing the grass is an excellent workout! I’ve also planted my flowers for the spring and summer. I added a few new sets of flowers to the front yard landscaping. When they start to fill out I’ll snap some photos for you guys.

My tulips didn’t come up this year because the squirrels dug up the bulbs and the rabbits at the leaves. I’m going to plant them again in the fall and see how THAT goes.

I’m excited for the summer! The last day of school for Ree is Friday, May 23rd. She’ll officially be a SENIOR! That is so hard to believe. Then there is 15 days until my brother gets up here for a visit. I haven’t seen my brother and his family for 4 years. It’s going to be SO much fun. I’m also headed to my 20 year high school reunion. So much to see and do this summer and to tackle..

I think Kennedy needs to think about retiring from public office. He’s been serving for WAY too long.. wouldn’t you agree?

May 2008

It's interesting to see where I was at with all of this two years ago. For more on what's up with me and my family visit us over on I Am Pooped.

  1. OH! LOL! I was reading this thinking, "Huh? It's September."

I actually haven't gone though my past posts. I probably should; it's kind of like a diary when you think about it.

  2. I wrote that in May 2008. I've been posting a few posts from the past and then a current one. Eventually I will be caught up. I was unable to transfer my posts from the previous URL because the file was too big. I've been blogging since 2003. Blogspot is where I will stay with my political discussions and hot topics.
